The yoga saga

While meeting people Ana at A2 yoga was kind enough to give me a 1 week pass for classes at the studio. I have to admit I had no idea how hard yoga really is. Dang this is hard, what a great work out. No wonder those yoga chicks are all skinny and ass kicking looking. I also tried the Nia class and it is a well balanced and fun work out. Nia is a dance exercise class that is a little more open ended where you can vary the exact move. The A2 yoga studio is beautiful inside. They also try hard to be green and to continue to be greener. They don't use any paper towels, instead they have a large about of small washcloth/hand towels. Kinda neat but i'm not sure if they are a ton greener then recycled paper towels?? Well that's being green everything comes with questions. I think the cloth towels are just nice. I feel the same way about cloth napkins, they're just nice.

Coffee for 1 dollar and 9 cents

This is highly awesome and yet another instance of my ignorance fixed! I went in to the Coffee Creamery on jackson rd. in desperate need of coffee. Since I have some hippie tendencies I brought my travel mug in with me. Lo! She filled my mug and only asked for $1.09! This is extra exciting because the Coffee Creamery makes some darn good coffee. This trend seems to continue to other establishments as well. Now where else might have this excellence? I'll be on the hunt.

Hello world

or hello Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti. This is my repository for all the little pleasing pieces of information I learn about our town. As these updates often bore friends and associates I will keep them here. I will try to avoid a lot of the better known but awesome things about the town.
